Indian Educational School, Kuwait welcomed the new academic year 2019-20 with warm smiles and open arms. The school reopened on 1st April 2019 and the students entered the next schooling phase of their lives with much hope and aspiration after a short but rejuvenating winter break.

All the corridors and the classrooms were festooned with balloons and streamers and the bulletin boards were emblazoned with prodding quotes on the sublime theme ‘TOLERANCE’ and brilliantly-coloured flowers.

The aspiring architects of the destiny of the globe were accorded a grand welcome by the School Student Council by organizing a fabulous morning assembly acknowledging the significance of the red-letter day. Escorted by Mr. Suresh V. Balakrishnan, the Vice Principal of the middle and senior wings, Mrs. Lalitha Premkumar, the Vice Principal of KG and primary wings and Mrs. Meenakshi Nayyar, the Vice Principal CCA, Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal, cut the ribbon and inaugurated the new stage set up for the open assembly yet another intiative of Bhavans for the new session.

After the lighting of the auspicious lamp the principal addressed the passionate group of learners with his innate and instinctive words of motivation. He urged the young Bhavanites to look up to the stars and not up to their feet as they were born to nest in the galaxies of excellence. He persuaded them to be disciplined, methodical, obedient and loving.

The first day of the new session had a handful of surprises awaiting the children in the form of entertainment with multifarious activities, fun-filled games, peppy dance numbers and popular songs all taken care of by the enthusiastic coordinators and the affable teachers. IES was over the moon sending the children back home with beatific smiles, beaming enthusiasm, and unconfined joy in their hearts.
